VA Loan Limits For 2010

Many inexperienced loan officers will tell you that the maximum VA Loan limit is $417,000 across the country.  This is simply not the case.  The VA works like any other government entity and makes concessions based on the reported cost of living and housing expenses for any given area.

The attached document is the complete 2010 VA Loan limit guidelines.  To find your VA loan limit search by STATE first and then COUNTY.  If your county is listed the maximum VA loan limit will be posted.

IF your county is NOT listed then your maximum VA Loan limit for 2010 is $417K
